I Chase My Kids with Furry Sticks

Yesterday, before the family came over for Mom's birthday cake, I took the boys for a bike ride while I jogged.

There is a pile gravel at which they like to stop. They run up it and run down, and run up and down, and so on. Ah, to be a kid again.

AJ had found a stick that was furry. I can't figure out from what kind of tree. I've googled fuzzy branches and furry branches, but I'm not really finding it. If you know, please let me know!

Anyhow, I tapped AJ's helmet with the stick a couple times which he just thought was the most hilarious thing ever, and so ensued 'the chase'. They'd run up the hill and beg for me to chase them with the stick on the way down.

your branch is killing me with curiosity tonight...lol
1. Did it have a smell?
2. Was it strong or easy to break?
could it have been a willow branch?

I didn't break it, so I'm not sure about that.
I didn't notice a smell.
However... I did think about a Willow tree. And.. come to think of it, I have one of those in my yard. I'll take a look tomorrow!

Funny Mommy!!!! Don't you hit those boys. Maybe the furry tree is a cottonwood. Norma

Ooh my mil has a tree in her garden, it gets furry in the winter when it loses it's leaves. We all call it the reindeer tree , not sure of it's actual name. Will have a google

Looks like a lot of fun! love the games that just happen x

I think this is it, looks beautiful in the autumn and gets fuzzy in the winter. xx
