AJ's Cake

So, we did it.
We made marshmallow fondant.
I bought a proper piping bag, but I'm still learning the do's and don'ts.
But I'm definitely not taking this up as a profession.
Here's the Wall-E cake for AJ's birthday tomorrow.

ps - Auntie Jen, don't freak about the colours, it's special concentrated professional colouring, not cups of food colouring.

Right at the beginning after we laid the fondant down on the cake.
(which was a piece of cake, hee hee)

Some 'filling in' pics.

The finished cake. I made the gray icing a little too dark. That Wall-E icing colouring is way powerful stuff.

Here's a brighter pic of the finished cake.

Here's the BIG mess.
(yes I buy my icing to save time and then add vanilla, icing sugar, and colouring)
