Two things....
1. Dexter has molars coming in every which way. The poor guy. His teeth are giving him A LOT of grief.
2. It appears as though Dexter has added 'sleep' to his repetoire of signs. Richard said, "Okay Dexter. Say good night to AJ. It's time for sleep." Dexter was waving goodbye to AJ when Richard came around the corner to get him, and then Dexter signed 'sleep' twice!!!
